Editorial & Corrections Policy
At Cebuanos News Ph, we are committed to accurate, fair, and responsible reporting.
Fact-Checking
Before publishing, we verify information against reliable sources, including official statements, credible news organizations, and public records. We aim to present facts clearly and avoid speculation presented as fact.
Source Attribution
When a story is based on or references reporting from another news organization, we credit that source and include a link to the original report wherever possible. We do not present other outlets' original reporting as our own.
Corrections
We make mistakes sometimes — when we do, we own up to them. If a factual error is found in a published article:
We correct the error as soon as possible
We add a short note at the bottom of the article stating what was corrected and when
For significant errors, we may republish with a visible correction notice
Reporting an Error
If you spot a mistake in any of our articles, please contact us at cebuanosnewsph@gmail.com with the article link and details of the error. We'll review and respond promptly.
Opinion vs. News
We aim to clearly distinguish factual news reporting from opinion or commentary pieces. Articles labeled as "Opinion" reflect the views of the author and not necessarily the editorial stance of Cebuanos News Ph.
