160 Cebu City Families Receive Certificates of Entitlement for GMA Ville Lot 110 Housing Project

CEBU CITY – Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development (DHSUD) Secretary Jose Ramon Aliling led the awarding of Certificates of Entitlement (COEs) to 160 qualified family-beneficiaries of the GMA Ville Lot 110 Housing Project in Barangay Carreta, Cebu City on Thursday.

According to DHSUD, the awarding turns more than two decades of wait and uncertainty into security and peace of mind for the beneficiaries.

The activity was organized by DHSUD Regional Office 7 in coordination with the National Housing Authority (NHA) and the Cebu City Government. It formally recognized the beneficiaries' entitlement to their respective housing lots, marking an important step toward securing a permanent place to call home.

DHSUD said the initiative reflects the continuing partnership between national government agencies and the local government in advancing housing opportunities and helping Filipino families achieve greater security in their communities through President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.'s Expanded Pambansang Pabahay para sa Pilipino (4PH) Program.

The awarding also forms part of the observance of National Shelter Month 2026, with the theme "Tahanan. Pamayanan. Kinabukasan," which highlights the importance of secure housing in building stronger communities and a better future for Filipino families.

Joining Secretary Aliling were Undersecretary Eduardo Robles Jr., Cebu City Mayor Nestor Archival, DHSUD RO7 Director Engr. Mark Anthony Lindugan, and NHA OIC-Regional Manager Engr. Dante Estrobo, along with other officials and stakeholders.
