DA7, Informa Markets Gear Up for First Regional Livestock Philippines This November
The Department of Agriculture-Central Visayas (DA7) and organizers from Informa Markets are already in full preparation mode following a courtesy visit to DA7 Regional Executive Director Angel C. Enriquez and Regional Technical Director for Operations Engr. Cirilo N. Namoc yesterday, September 18, 2026 — a lead-up to the first-ever Regional Livestock Philippines set for this coming November 2026.
The expected 4,000 participants — coming from local and international exhibitors, private and public sector players, producers, young farmers, down to backyard raisers from Cebu, Bohol, and neighboring provinces in the Visayas and Mindanao — already gives an idea of how big the scale of this event is shaping up to be.

Regional Livestock Philippines is being organized by Informa Markets together with the Department of Agriculture – National Livestock Program (DA-NLP). DA7 wasn't the only stop for the preparations. The team from Informa Markets and DA7 also paid a visit to the office of Cebu Provincial Governor Pamela S. Baricuatro, where they were received by Grecilda "Gigi" Sanchez-Zaballero, the Cebu Provincial Consultant on Agriculture and Livelihood. Also present at the meeting were Chang Euldan from the Investment and Promotions Office, Jerome Mabag, Senior Agriculturist at the Office of the Provincial Agriculturist-Cebu, and Rodrigo Tanza Jr. from the Office of the Provincial Veterinarian-Cebu.
From DA7's side, also part of the visit were Dr. Zeam Voltaire Amper, Regional Livestock Focal, along with Tezza Fuertes, and Noli Rasonabe, Agricultural Program Coordinating Officer for Cebu.
During the meeting, Governor Baricuatro's office committed its full support for the activity, with the Cebu Provincial Capitol expected to remain open for coordination and cooperation to ensure the event's successful implementation — this includes plans to invite farmers and livestock raisers from every town in Cebu.
For his part, Director Enriquez likewise pledged his full support for the activity and its organizers, adding that this is all in the interest of food security and the progress of every farmer and fisherfolk across the region.
